Support our services

Volunteer

We are looking for volunteers to assist with outreach and education. If you come from a drug-using community, we consider your experience extremely valuable and will not discriminate against you because of current or past drug use.

Packer

While a Safe Point staff member is completing a visit in Quick Exchange, packers put the relevant materials and supplies together for clients.

What you will do:

  • Record amount and types of supplies given out.
  • Collect specific materials to gove to participants after the interview.
  • Let staff know when materials are running low.
  • Restock supplies.

Greeter/Navigator

Greeters and navigators welcome clients and track the order in which they arrive. After a client has received services, they let staff and other volunteers know who is next.

What you will do:

  • Create a welcoming environment.
  • Interact with clients.
  • Hand out necessary forms and paperwork.
  • Make sure clients get to their next service provider: testing counselor, AOD counselor, pharmacy, medical provider.

Please email us at volunteer@equitashealth.com to learn how you can help.
